The main hall was a whirlwind of energy and enthusiasm as The Flaming Ducks, The People Under The Stairs, The Purple Koalas, and Walking Penguins rocked the house with their renditions of classic hits like "We Will Rock You," "Firework," "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," and "Eye of the Tiger." It was simply electrifying!

Considering these budding musicians have only been learning their instruments for a short time, their performances were nothing short of phenomenal. The dedication and hard work of our pupils and their band leaders shone through in every note.

We were blown away by the incredible support from our parents. The atmosphere was electric, and it was clear that everyone had an unforgettable time. A huge thank you to all the parents who joined us to celebrate these amazing achievements.

We are thrilled to share the delightful highlights from our recent KS2 concert, which took place in our main hall on Wednesday, March 2024, at 2 pm. The event was a resounding success, showcasing the incredible musical talents of our pupils and celebrating their hard work and dedication.

The concert began with an introduction by our Year 4 pupils, who confidently took the stage to present their musical arrangements. These budding musicians proudly shared their learning experiences with the Birmingham Music Services, and treated the KS2 audience with fun songs and charming music pieces featuring brass instruments. 

Following this segment, the spotlight shifted to our talented Year 5 Electives, who captivated the audience with their skilful performances on slide trombones. 

And let's not forget our Year 6 electives, who then proceeded to bring the house down with their spirited rendition of "When the Saints Go Marching In." Their energetic performance had everyone tapping their feet!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the children who participated in the concert, as well as the staff who have nurtured their passion for music. Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off, and we eagerly anticipate your next musical showcase.
