Our 42nd Issue: A French Special 24.01.25

As Miss Hendricks is leaving us, we are having a special French issue this week. Imran from 4RN, Jan, Chaima and Darine from 5AI interviewed her. Alex from 5AI wrote a book review from 'When the sky falls' by Phil Earle.
Here's an extract from Emily (5AI)'s Child Hero piece:
Harshita Priyadarshini Mohanty began collecting and conserving native seeds in 2020. She has over 180 indigenous (native) paddy and more than 80 types of millet seeds that she then shares freely with farmers in her region to promote organic farming.
In April 2024, Harshita took part in a virtual national competition in India and won Rs 2.5 lakh (£2650) as a cash prize for her ideas about organic farming. She was then invited to a Convention by the Department of Agriculture in India.
