Meet Our House Captains
🏅 What does it mean to be a House Captain?
House Captains are Year 6 leaders chosen to represent each House: Cadbury (Purple), Eden (Yellow), Chamberlain (Green), Boulton (Blue), and Brindley (Red).
If you are chosen, you will:
-
Be a mentor to pupils of all ages in your house.
-
Run special “House Surgeries” at breaktimes where pupils can come to you for advice and encouragement.
-
Champion your House values – showing kindness, compassion, fairness, and confidence.
-
Support pupils entering competitions, especially those who need a confidence boost.
-
Play a prominent role in whole-school events, like Sports Day and House competitions.
-
Report to your Head of House, sharing ideas or problems raised by your House.
-
Accompany your Head of House to assemblies, introducing yourself to pupils and making your face known across the school.
-
Have your photo displayed in school and be recognised by your House badge.
-
Be knowledgeable about your House Hero (Cadbury, Jesse Eden, Joseph Chamberlain, Matthew Boulton, James Brindley) and ready to inspire others with their story.
