Marvellous Me Update

Dear Parents and Carers,

Over recent weeks you may have noticed difficulties with Marvellous Me. Unfortunately, this platform is being discontinued, which has made it increasingly unreliable. Parents and staff have both experienced technical problems — from logging in to messages not coming through. We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.

We are now beginning the transition to a new system: the Juniper Parent App, which will completely replace Marvellous Me. This platform links directly with our school system (SIMS). When your child joins or leaves the school, their details will update automatically, saving time and making communication much more efficient.

Through this app, you’ll be able to:

  • Receive messages from your child’s teacher — stay updated with reminders and announcements directly on your phone.
  • See pupil updates and achievements — celebrate your child’s successes with updates about badges earned in school.
  • Enjoy observations and photos — get a glimpse into classroom activities and events (to be introduced over the autumn term).

Getting Started — It’s free!

  • Over the coming weeks you will receive an email invitation from us with a link to create your account.
  • The invitation will go to the email address you provided on your contact form when your child joined the school. Please bear in mind that if this email address is out of date you will need to inform the office of your new one so that your details can be updated on the system.
  • To create your account, you simply complete a short form and set a password. Once your account is set up, you can log in and start using the app.

If you wish, you can download the app in advance by searching Juniper Education in your app store:

However, please note you won’t be able to log in until you receive your invitation email and complete the account setup. If you experience problems with activation, you will need to contact Juniper directly, as the school cannot resolve technical issues.

 

Next Steps

We will gradually move all parents across to the new system and then stop using Marvellous Me completely. Until the transition is complete, important communication will continue to be sent by paper letter to make sure nothing is missed.

The Juniper Parent App will continue to grow over time, with new features added to improve how we share information with you. At its heart, it will do what Marvellous Me aimed to do — keep you informed about school news and celebrate your child’s achievements.

Thank you for your patience and support as we make this change. We are confident that once fully in place, the Juniper Parent App will be a more reliable and effective way to stay connected with your child’s school life.
