Rights Respecting
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) is a list of rights that countries around the world have agreed that all children have. Going to school is an important part of children's lives, so it is important that everyone in a school knows about and supports children's rights.
All of our classes develop their own class charter at the start of the school year. They decide what adults and children should be doing to ensure that children’s rights are always respected.
We have been working towards recognition of our school as a UNICEF UK Rights Respecting Schools Award, and have so far reached a Silver Award.
